Why 'GUMNUTS'?

We’re always being asked about the name of our boat (except by Australians who are smiling).

Our home in Australia used to be in the mountains, surrounded by Eucalytus Trees, which we call Gum trees and the nut is called a gumnut.

On our asymmetric spinnaker (and on the bow at the waterline) you can see the leaf of a gum tree and gumnuts.

Now you'll also understand the choice of green.
